Terms of Use
| Effective | October 21, 2026 |
|---|
These Terms of Use govern your use of l3digital.net (the “site”), operated by L3Digital LLC, an Indiana limited liability company (“L3Digital”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Other terms apply to some things the site offers or links to:
- The L3Digital SMS Alerts program is governed by our SMS Terms of Service.
- Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
- Software we publish is governed by its own license (Section 4).
- If we agree in writing to provide you a product or service, that agreement governs it.
1. Using the site
You may view, download, and print pages from the site for your own information. You may not:
- use the site in any way that breaks the law;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or any system connected to it, or probe or test their security without our written permission;
- interfere with the site or overload it, including with automated requests at a rate that burdens it; or
- submit false information through our forms, or sign up a phone number you are not authorized to use.
2. Information on the site
The site describes L3Digital, its projects, and its plans. It is general information. It is not professional, technical, legal, or financial advice, and it is not an offer to sell anything. Projects may change, pause, or end, and a description of a plan or feature is not a promise to deliver it. We try to keep the site accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or current.
3. Our content and name
The site and its content (text, graphics, logos, and design) belong to L3Digital or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Except as these terms or a license allow, do not copy, modify, or distribute it. The L3Digital name and logo are trademarks of L3Digital LLC. Do not use them in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with you or your products.
4. Open-source software
Some projects on the site link to source code, for example on GitHub. That code is licensed under the license in its repository, and that license, not these terms, governs your use of the code. If these terms conflict with a project’s license, the license controls for that code.
5. Messages you send us
Messages you send us are not confidential unless we have agreed in writing to keep them confidential, so do not send us anything you need kept secret. If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you. As our Privacy Policy explains, AI assistants working under our direction may help read and answer messages.
6. Links to other sites
The site links to sites we do not control, such as GitHub and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply.
7. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, L3DIGITAL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. L3DIGITAL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE, ACCURATE, OR SECURE, OR THAT IT WILL BE FREE OF ERRORS OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, L3DIGITAL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SITE, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE IS LIMITED TO US$100.
Any claim relating to the site may be brought only against L3Digital LLC, not against its members, managers, or personnel individually. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions or limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
9. Governing law and disputes
Indiana law governs these terms and any dispute relating to the site, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any such dispute must be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you and L3Digital consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the place where you live.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this page shows the latest version. The version in effect when you use the site applies to that use.
11. Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
